Our Story
Our story started in 2022, when two brothers with zero hospitality experience decided to dive into the industry and open our first venue — Boom Cafe.
Located in the heart of Eastwood, Boom became our way of sharing the food we grew up around, serving Korean-fusion breakfast and brunch that brought Korean flavours into the Australian café experience.
As Korean immigrant brothers growing up in Sydney, our memories of food were always a mix of two cultures. As Boom grew, so did our idea of what we wanted to create.
That journey eventually led us to Tubros.
We took the same philosophy that shaped Boom and applied it to something we’ve always loved — American-style smash burgers. Classic smashed patties, crispy edges and melted cheese, elevated with the Korean flavours we grew up eating.
From a café we opened with no experience to our own burger shop, Tubros is the next chapter of our story — two brothers bringing together the flavours of Korea and the food we grew up loving in Sydney.
